Purpose of Recording and Transcription:
As part of your psychological treatment, I may use NovoNote, an online recording and transcribing service, to record and transcribe our sessions. These platforms help me keep accurate records of our discussions, ensure the highest quality of care, and allow me to engage with you without being distracted by note-taking.
How Online Recording and Transcribing Services Work:
Sessions will be recorded using the NovoNote services.
The audio files are deleted after 48 hours.
NovoNote has been approved by the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) requirements for data security.
Confidentiality and Data Security:
Your privacy and confidentiality are my top priority. This service follows strict security protocols to protect your data.
Only I will have access to the recordings before they are automatically deleted.
Transcriptions are securely saved in your client file, and no third parties will access your data without your written consent.
Your Rights:
You have the right to ask questions and raise concerns at any time.
You can request that we not use NovoNote for your sessions, and we will continue without using this platform.
You may withdraw your consent at any time.
